Need a fun self-checking activity to practice using the Converse of the Pythagorean Theorem? In this Christmas Math activity, 8th grade students will be given three side lengths and they must use the Pythagorean Theorem to determine if they’d create a right triangle.

As they answer each question correctly, part of an image will appear. At the end, a joke will appear! A printable worksheet is also included.

• Correct answers will turn GREEN and reveal part of an image.
• Incorrect answers will turn RED.
