Your students will beg to play this Halloween review game! Ghosts in the Graveyard has been one of my classroom favorites for years. This low-prep activity is a guaranteed way to get every student engaged during your review day.

What is Ghosts in the Graveyard?

It’s a super fun game for review that can be played year-round!

• Students work in groups to solve a series of challenges.

If the challenge questions are correct, students choose a tombstone to move their ghost to.

Number of challenges = number of ghosts on tombstones

• At the end of class, reveal how many points each tombstone is worth. The team with the most points wins.
