Description

Students will enjoy practicing finding the area and perimeter of composite figures with this fun self-checking scavenger hunt! You can either print the pages and display them around the classroom or school and have students go around to each figure. Or, you can assign the digital edition!

*Students will need prior knowledge of the Pythagorean Theorem!*

After solving each question, students must look for their answer at the bottom of another question. If they are unable to find it, they know that they made a mistake and will need to do some error analysis.

Topics Included:

• Find either the area or perimeter of 16 RIGOROUS composite figures. Includes circles, semi-circles, and quarter-circles! All questions use 3.14 for pi.

Best suited for advanced 7th graders and 8th graders.
